driving in a Winter Wonderland
I had to drive Annie to work today
she was laughing at me for side punching my metal button until I got my car door open
then her doors were frozen shut.
Irony in Motion
Then I spilled half my Grande Starbucks all over my pants.

today. Sheesh.

all my grandparents are officially dead. My Grandfather, the last of the old worlders in our family, Thaddeus Majcher died monday. It got me to thinking about the last name. It doesn't sound polish at all. I wonder if theres a "-ski" or "-chuk" that got dropped somewhere along the way.
What do you think? Majcherski or Majcherscuk?

sometimes overheardinnewyork is too good to be true.

Asian guy: It's an ancient tradition: every Chinese New Year Bruce Lee fights Chuck Norris for good luck.

is a milkbar serving actual milk?

It's awesome... let me dig up the photo from me & Bonnie's NY trip...

It's a bar loosely based on the one in A Clockwork Orange, the film. They serve regular bar drinks but ALSO a whole bunch of milkshake-like items and -- best of all -- milk shake-based mixed beverages.

Oh, it's so sweet and boozy. Plus, they seem to constantly show cheesy movies on the monitors in there.

You should go if you ever get the chance -- it's rad.

Sorry about your grandpa, man. I've still got two of those old people left, and they're in their 90's.

Majcherski. Definitely Majcherski.

I'm so sorry about your grandpa...I'd really have a hard time loosing mine so I can't say I know your sorrow yet. Hang in there and keep searching for your history anyway, it'll make you stronger (not that you need it)

I miss your wonderful smile, keep taking care of yourself darlin'.
